This pastel-based abstract painting has a very simple concept: not all pastels need to go into a baby’s room. Some pastels can be cool and elegant enough to live in the land of adults. I first practiced this on a white background and it wasn’t nearly as interesting, so I swapped it for a glossy black background and it made a huge difference.

This piece is appropriate for living rooms, large hallways, bedrooms, and… baby’s rooms.
