This is a beach-themed abstract art painting and has colors taken directly from a calming coastal palette. I had been building up to this piece for months, searching for the right colors, practicing my swoop style in a couple of other pieces, and finally putting paint to canvas for this piece, and it turned into the easiest painting I have ever created. Easy in that it went exactly as I had envisioned it, it went right from the very beginning, and it makes me feel like I had hoped: calm, happy, and free. Everything about this painting brings me joy.
