“Split Personality” is an abstract painting and was a huge exercise in letting go. I had recently been accepted into an art gallery where they wanted me to change my style and I had been in my head every since. I went nearly a month without painting anything. This abstract art painting was my attempt to simply have fun, get back to painting what I love, and put paint on canvas again. This piece of contemporary art is warm, inviting, and energetic at the same time. I used acrylic paint, with just enough metallic for the extra punch, and enough black for character. This artwork would fit well in a living room, dining room, office (looks GREAT behind you in a Zoom meeting, I’ve done it), master bedroom, and/or a business setting (office, lobby, or conference room.)
